Sky Apps (individually operated, hereinafter referred to as “Sky Apps”) sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in Sky Apps Terminal and the web applications provided by Sky Apps (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Sky Apps Terminal and the web applications provided by Sky Apps.
For information handling practices on external websites linked from the Services, please refer to the privacy policies or other notices provided by those external websites.
2. Analytics
The Services use Vercel Web Analytics to understand usage and improve the Services.
Sky Apps configures the page URLs sent to Analytics so that query strings and URL hashes are excluded, and only the origin and pathname are sent.
Sky Apps does not use custom Vercel Web Analytics events to transmit text entered by users, notes, learning scores, answers, or similar information entered within the applications.
According to Vercel’s official documentation, Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Vercel may process information related to access to the Services in connection with providing its services.
Sky Apps does not independently collect or store IP addresses for the purpose of identifying users.
For more information about Vercel’s handling of information, please refer to:
3. Cookies
Sky Apps does not use cookies for the purpose of tracking users.
As of October 2026, no cookies were observed in production testing of Sky Apps Terminal or the publicly available Sky Apps web applications.
4. Data Stored on Your Device
Some applications use browser localStorage to improve convenience, maintain learning progress, or retain usage history.
Depending on the application, information stored locally may include:
- Favorites
- Learning history and progress
- Scores
- In-progress training state
- Language preferences
- Drafts
- My Airshow records and free-text notes
This information is stored within the user’s browser and is not transmitted to or synchronized with Sky Apps servers.
Where an application provides a delete or reset function, users may remove stored data through that function. Otherwise, users may remove the data using their browser’s site-data deletion features.
5. Information Entered by Users
Some applications allow users to enter text, numbers, or other information.
Examples include:
- METAR text
- In-flight announcement drafts
- Airshow-related notes
- Information used for calculations, such as alcohol consumption, age, body weight, and time
Under the current implementation, there is no mechanism that transmits this entered information to any external server.
Information entered into “アルコール残ってる?” (“Alcohol Still in Your System?”) is not stored and is used only temporarily for calculations on the current screen.
Information that users explicitly choose to save, such as drafts in SkyPhrase PA Lab or notes in Airshow Navi, is stored in the user’s browser using localStorage.
6. External Services
The Services use Vercel for web application hosting and access analytics.
The Services currently do not load fonts or JavaScript directly from external CDNs such as Google Fonts or cdnjs.
Some applications contain links to external websites, including Google Maps, government organizations, aviation-related organizations, and other third-party websites.
These external websites are opened only when the user chooses to follow the relevant link.
7. Browser Features
Some applications may use features provided by the browser or device in order to provide functionality.
Examples include:
- Text-to-speech
- Web Audio
- Full-screen display
- Screen orientation features
Sky Apps does not transmit user input or personal information externally merely as a result of using these browser features.
8. Accounts and Personal Information
The Services do not provide user registration, login, or membership account functionality.
Sky Apps also does not provide a mechanism for independently collecting or storing users’ names, addresses, telephone numbers, or similar information on Sky Apps servers.
However, if a user enters their own name or other personal information into a free-text field and chooses to save it, that information may be stored locally in the user’s browser.
9. Information Provided When Contacting Sky Apps
Inquiries are accepted through a dedicated Sky Apps email address.
When contacting Sky Apps, Sky Apps may receive the sender’s email address, the content of the message, and any other information voluntarily included by the sender.
This information is used to respond to the inquiry and to provide any necessary assistance.
Sky Apps uses Google Gmail to receive and manage inquiry emails.
For information about Google’s handling of information, please refer to:
https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
10. Data Retention
Data stored in browser localStorage may remain until the user deletes or resets it through the application or removes the relevant site data through the browser.
Analytics and service-related data processed by Vercel is handled in accordance with Vercel’s service specifications and privacy policies.
Sky Apps does not independently guarantee Vercel’s internal retention periods, storage locations, or deletion schedules where those details cannot be confirmed by Sky Apps.
11. Advertising and Sale of Information
Sky Apps currently does not use advertising delivery services.
Sky Apps does not sell user information to third parties for advertising purposes.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Sky Apps may revise this Privacy Policy in response to new application features, changes to services used by Sky Apps, operational needs, legal requirements, or other circumstances.
If an important change is made, Sky Apps will provide notice through Sky Apps Terminal or another appropriate method.
